100% COTTON slings will have several inches of elastic towards the "pouch". The elastic helps hold the form of the sling especially around the puppy and close to the person wearing the sling.
The sling best fits puppies from 10 weeks to an approximate weight of 10-12 lbs. Any larger size and your pet may not fit in the pouch of the sling. Any additional weight in the sling may cause strain or fatigue in your shoulder.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash on cool and dry. Iron or steam to remove wrinkles from 100% cotton fabrics, if desired. Do not use an iron on fleece slings.
